The ACT is together with the SAT the exam that almost all the American universities request as access requirement. There are two types of exam: the ACT and ACT plus Writing in which you have to write an essay, which is the most recommended to do.
The test mainly measures information knowledge and focuses on five areas: English, science, mathematics, critical reading and writing. It is very important to study the test a long time in advance and take several test exams so that the more familiar you are with the test the better.

Are ACT and SAT the same?
The ACT and the SAT are the two entrance exams requested by the universities of the United States during the application process. The student can perform both exams to see which one has a better grade or choose between one and the other.
The difference between the two focuses on the type of questions and their content. While the ACT prioritizes the knowledge of the content of the information, the SAT evaluates the aptitude and the argumentation, that is, the applied reasoning.
The way to qualify both exams is also different. In the ACT all students can aspire to get the highest score while in the SAT the results are based on a comparison of all students who took the exam. It is also important to know that in the ACT only the correct answers are counted and in the SAT the incorrect answers are subtracted.
